biography

Sara Taboada, a Franco-Colombian artist, brilliantly combines her talents as a soprano colorature and bass clarinetist. A graduate of the Haute école des arts du Rhin (HEAR) in Strasbourg, she stands out for her creativity, dynamism, and ability to unite people around innovative projects. Her tenacity has earned her several distinctions, including the HEAR American scholarship and the Bordeaux Young Talent Competition prize.

Versatile, she performs a repertoire ranging from traditional and early music, for which she often creates arrangements, to contemporary music with about twenty original works to her credit.

She is the co-founder of Ensemble Intercolor, partnering with various professions, committed to environmental mediation. She collaborates with ornithologists, archaeologists, entomologists, ENGEES research professors, set designers, and visual artists. Her ambition is to perform lesser-known repertoire, particularly works by female composers, which she has studied for three years.
